Cync Cards terms of use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Using the service

These terms govern the standalone digital business card service operated by cyncidentity. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must be authorised to do so. Questions and complaints: support@cyncidentity.com.

Your account and content

Keep your account details accurate and your password private. You retain ownership of your content and grant cyncidentity permission to store, display and deliver it as needed to operate your card, QR code, images and downloadable contact file. Upload only information, photos, logos and trademarks you are entitled to use. Publishing makes your card information publicly accessible.

Acceptable use and contact exchanges

Do not impersonate others, infringe rights, publish unlawful or misleading content, distribute malware, harass people, collect data without authority, send spam or try to bypass service protections. Do not post sensitive personal data or another person’s information without authority. Use received contacts only for the purpose reasonably understood by the person sharing them and in accordance with applicable privacy and marketing rules. You are responsible for exported copies and your own subsequent processing.

Availability, limits and third parties

Service limits are shown in the card manager. Features may change and availability is not guaranteed. External websites and services have their own terms. Any future paid offering requires separately disclosed pricing and terms; these terms do not authorise an undisclosed charge.

Pausing, suspension and ending use

You can pause or delete your cards and ask support to close your account. We may restrict a card or account to address abuse, security issues or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Deleting a card cannot revoke information already saved by visitors. Retained records are addressed in the privacy notice.

Responsibilities and rights

Take care when relying on information published by other users; publication is not verification or endorsement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support first to seek resolution of a dispute; applicable statutory rights and access to competent authorities or courts remain available.

Changes

Changes will be dated here and communicated where required. Material changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. Read the privacy notice and cookies and storage notice for how information is handled.
