Sign-in cookies

The card manager uses the cync_card cookie to maintain your session. It is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax and can last up to 30 days. Signing out revokes the server session and clears the cookie. Blocking it prevents normal account sign-in. Other cyncidentity workspace features may use separate session cookies outside the scope of this notice.

Public card statistics

The public card page does not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Card views, contact saves and exchanges are recorded by the server to provide usage counts; these counts do not require an advertising cookie. Infrastructure may process technical request records to operate and protect the service.

Pocket QR and offline storage

Opening the pocket QR page can register an offline helper and cache the QR page, QR images, scripts, manifest and logo on your device. This allows it to open without internet. Offline or downloaded copies may persist after a card is paused or deleted and may be out of date. Clear this site’s stored data in your browser settings and remove saved images or home-screen shortcuts to remove local copies.

Your controls

You can block cookies or clear site data through your browser. This may sign you out or remove offline access. Cync Cards does not currently provide optional advertising cookies, so there is no advertising-cookie preference banner. New optional tracking would require updated information and consent where applicable. External links operate under the destination service’s own cookie rules. Questions: support@cyncidentity.com.
